The main difference is the tilting function. The 8000 has a Synchron tilt, where the relationship between the seat and the back is well synchronised for a smooth tilting movement. The 8000 offers many adjustment possibilities and great freedom of choice for composing a personal chair.
The Kinnarps 8000 Task Chair has a sliding seat, a height adjustable back, lockable syncrho action and a gas lift height adjustable spindle. It also comes in any colour fabric so the choice is yours.
